Turn an Old Car into a New Home
Car donations can help a family in our community build a house and the hope of a better life! By donating a car to Heartland Habitat for Humanity's Cars for Homes vehicle donation program, you help Heartland Habitat build and rehabilitate houses in partnership with families in need. It is quick and easy to recycle your used cars, trucks, boats, RVs, motorcycles, construction equipment or other vehicles—running or not! Plus, you may be eligible for a tax deduction if you itemize. (Consult the IRS or your tax advisor for details.)
Heartland Habitat's Johnson County ReStore location, located at 9850 W. 87th Street in Overland Park, is the new headquarters for Heartland Habitat's Cars for Homes program. To donate a car, truck, boat or RV, call (913) 648-6001 or visit CarsForHomes.org to donate your vehicle online. All cars donated locally will be used to benefit Heartland Habitat's service area.
