Individual Volunteer Form
Put Your Skills to Work
Heartland Habitat for Humanity offers volunteer opportunities for all aspects of home building. Both construction and non-construction volunteer opportunities are available. You do not need to be an expert to help out on a work site; many tasks require only a willingness to learn and work with others. All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 16 years of age or older. Projects will proceed rain or shine.
The information you provide in the Registration and Orientation helps determine where your skill would best help. You will receive valuable information on available volunteer opportunities so you can choose where you’d like to help out. The information you provide is never shared with any other organization or company. Please review the Privacy Policy for additional information.
If you’re completing court-appointed community service hours, please inform the Volunteer Coordinator. If you don’t inform Heartland Habitat for Humanity, the hours you complete cannot be verified.
Online Registration and Orientation
The registration and orientation process may be completed online here.
- First, complete the online orientation, about four to five pages,
- Download and print a liability waiver that you must bring to the work site with you the first time you volunteer,
- Once you complete the online orientation, select a work day from our construction calendar and email the volunteer coordinator with the date you would like to volunteer.
